Questions
How much does it cost?+
$49 for your book, including printing and shipping. Want more copies of the same book — one for each grandkid, or for the whole lab? Each extra copy is just $20.
What kinds of papers work?+
Almost anything — physics, biology, computer science, economics, psychology. If there's an idea in it, we can tell it as a story.
Is the science still accurate?+
We simplify, but we don't make things up. The story keeps the core idea of the paper and leaves the jargon out.
Who is it for?+
- Researchers' kids — finally understand what Mom or Dad actually does all day at work.
- Curious kids — the one obsessed with black holes, dinosaurs or octopuses gets a book about the real science.
- In memory of a grandparent — turn a late grandmother's or grandfather's research into a story, so the grandkids can understand their work and feel close to them.
- New PhDs — a funny “explain it like I'm 5” graduation gift: their thesis, finally readable by everyone.
